Same player, every door

The same birthdate under each body's rules — because a player who plays minor ball in spring, a club in fall and a tryout in summer meets all of them. Where the numbers differ, that is the rule, not a mistake.

Rest is counted in nights by BC Minor and in days by everyone else; a "two nights rest" and a "one day rest" can land on the same morning. The card above shows each body's own words.

BC Minor · bats

15U AAA and 18U AAA / College Prep may now swing a −3 BBCOR bat as well as wood, bamboo or wood composite. In 2024 both were wood-only. Rule 19.04 F, H · 2026 rule book

This is the handbook view. Sixty-odd rows from the inventory, keyed on body · division · topic · value · effective · clause. The page never generates a sentence about a rule; it selects rows and prints them with their source. Alberta's handbook is the same content as prose on Google Sites; Rocky reads it and paraphrases. This reads it and quotes.

Age is the derivation that matters. The picker takes a birth month and year and applies each body's own counting rule — December 31 for BC Minor, Baseball Canada and BCPBL; August 31 for Little League. That one function dissolves the September-birthday confusion: the page says which division the player is in under each door, and why.

BC Minor is now Primary. With the full PDF in hand, Rule 24.01 turned out to be its own table — rest in nights, different thresholds for spring versus summer, and pitching-and-catching permitted (Rule 24.04) where Baseball Canada forbids it. None of that was in the retailer's summary, and the inventory's assumption that BC Minor follows Baseball Canada's table was wrong. The rows here are quoted from pages 89 and 101–102.

What's still unconfirmed. BC Senior has no document on the open web; its card says so rather than guessing. Little League district deadlines aren't collected. Everything else on the page is quoted.

Under the spine, each member body edits its own rows. "What changed for 2026" becomes a diff the page computes, and an association's site embeds the current row instead of copying it — which is how White Rock's bat page stops being two years behind.
